A lot of quality matches during Round 2

The Netherlands - this Championship is based on 3-player formations who'll play 24 Team rounds in total. Baulkline 47/2 (200), 71/2 (150) and 1-Cushion (100) is being played on a pretty high level. In recent years this competition was dominated by the team Cubri / Etikon with the players Jean Paul de Bruijn, Patrick Niessen, Henri Tilleman and the substitutes Dave Christiani and Wolfgang Zenkner. During the second round of the Dutch National Carom Championship Series, the quality of many players was underlined once again; all Baulkline matches were finished within 7 innings, four times a Baulkline match was finished in the opening inning; Raymund Swertz, Patrick Niessen, Henri Tilleman and Rene Luijsterburg were responsible for the perfect game. Both teams from Haarlo (Cubri and YEL) did a good job and remained at the top of the ranking. The team of Frédéric Caudron, Topteam 's Lands Welvaren, spilled points and is currently two points behind.

Swertz scored 100.00 overall average Baulk-line 47/2 and Blondeel pulled out two outstanding 1-Cushion games; 22.00 average for him. Koen Workel (23), the youngster from Buiting Staal Constructie used only 10 innings for 300 points Baulk-line 71/2 and beat Michael van Silfhout and Micha van Bochum.  It was remarkable as well that a former World Champion, Jos Bongers, did not had a chance in his specialism 1-Cushion, Fabian Blondeel and Dave van Geel played superb and finished in respectively 3 and 4 turns . The team of Rene Luijsterburg; ''de Wells Vaert''  from Welberg is still waiting for their first victory and is at the bottom of the ranking empty-handed.

Frédéric Caudron played an outstanding 1-Cushion match against Ad Klijn (De Pelikaan 1) and demonstrated his great allround skills by finishing in 5 innings, his team will also play an important role in the battle for the title. His team members will hopefully get enough inspiration in order to win their matches as well, in this stage it's important to keep up the pace with the Ranking leaders.
