Sung-Won Choi has two more matches to play and is still in the race for qualification.

The averages are extremely high, the opportunities still open. The final qualifying round of the Agipi Masters is on the crossroads of win or loose with only six matches to play. This afternoon Roland Forthomme starts at 14.00 against Sung-Won Choi, Dion Nelin faces Glenn Hofman at the other table.

Forthomme and Hofmann are virtually eliminated, Choi, Nelin  and Filipos Kasidokostas battle for two places in the final round at 24, 25, 26 and 27 of March.

The preliminary rounds in the Groups A and B characterized so far by many high match averages and high runs. Ten players in sixteen matches so far played over 2.000 average. Martin Horn had a peak at the top of his match against Michael Nilsson, which he finished in fifteen innings, averaging 3.333.

Marco Zanetti took the highes overall average in three matches (2.426), but the Italian still have a lot of work to do after his loss against Michael Nilsson last evening. In this B-group Javier Palazón is already sure of the final round. Later today (17.30) Zanetti and Horn play for the second place in the group.

Kasidokostas and Nelin gathered four points each in Group A. The Dane has two more matches to play, the Greek only one. Choi, who collected two points, also has two matches to go.

In the B group, with Palazón on the lead, Zanetti and Horn gathered four points. The winner of the duel between those two players is seeded for the final round. If they draw, Zanetti is the winner, because his average is higher: 2.426 to 2.076 for Horn.

Marco Zanetti, Filipos Kasidokostas and Martin Horn play an average over 2.000 after three matches. Palazón, who finished the qualifying round yesterday, ended up with six match points and averaged 1.858.
