Frédéric Caudron had a brilliant start with two matches in 23 innings.

SCHILTIGHEIM - The champion, Agipi, demonstrated his class in his own room (8-0 against Andernos), but it's far from certain which opponent they will meet tomorrow in the final. Laxou and Kozoom are still playing in the other semi final. In the first match, yesterday, Laxou won 5-3, now there is a 4-0 for Kozoom during the break, because Jérôme Barbeillon and Francis Connesson both won their matches.

The two leaders of the team (Dick Jaspers and Filipos Kasidokostas) have to win at least one of their two matches in the second part. Then they will take a 6-2 win after the 5-3 defeat in the first encounter.

Agipi showed his impressive mastership in the first afternoon session against Andernos. Roland Forthomme had one great moment in his duel with Frédéric Caudron, with a run of twelve, but couldn't stop the master on his way to the match win: (50-37 in 23). Very remarkable in the two matches between these two players was that both matches had the same score: 50-37 in 23. Caudron played two times 2.174 average.

Therefor he was the best man of all after one and a half session. Marco Zanetti was very strong as well in his two performances against Peter De Backer: in his second he won 50-38 in 26 innings (1.923).

Jean-Christoph Roux took a resounding revenge for his defeat by Marc Boignères in the first match, now he won 50-30 in 32 innings. Jérémy Bury left his opponent Frédéric Mottet far behind: the French champion never met any problems and shone with 50-27 in 28 innings (1.786).
