Anguita and Cardoso champions in Spain

VALENCIA - Carlos Anguita has won the title in the Spanish championship for players under 25. He won the tournament in the final against Andrés Carrion and Jesús Rico. Estela Cardoso became junior champion in ladies event. The championships were held in the venue of Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia.

Carlos Anguita won his second title under 25, beating Andrés Carrión 40-39 in 32 innings. Estela Cardoso defeated Yeimy Mancipe 30-22.

The final sprint of Carlos Anguita was formidable. In his match for the semi-final against Rico, he had to score six points in the equalizer at 40-34. In the final, Anguita survived two match balls against Carrión.
