Austrian in battle for three cushion titles

VIENNA - The well known Austrian club BSK Union from Vienna is hosting the three cushion Austrian championship for men and women this weekend. Sixteen men and five women compete for the title. The competition will be broadcast live by Kozoom. The defending champion is Andreas Efler, who defeated Andreas Kronlachner in last year's final. The third place was by shared by Andreas Horvath and Arnim Kahofer.

The women start with five players of whom Helga Mittelböck is the defending champion. She won last year's final vs Natascha Al Mamar.

The knockout phase for men starts on Sunday, January 29th. From 11.00 are the quarter-finals. At  on four tables. Thesemi-finals are at 14.00, fhe final at 18.00.
