3-Cushion
HERTEN - The German three cushion elite gathers from today for the second German Masters three cushion, organized by GT Buer. The tournament starts off with sixteen players (Friday, May 2nd) at 12.30. Jens Eggers, one of the best German players and the initiator and organizer, himself doesn't belong to the participants to give all his attention to the tournament.
Tickets to participate are distributed among the best players in the league plus three wildcards including the German champion Christos Christodoulidis and sponsor Orhan Erogul.
Martin Horn is the defending champion, who's with 1.776 again on top of the German players ranking in the competition. The newcomers include Thorsten Frings with an average of 1.365 and Johann Schirmbrand 1.333.
The group format:
Group A: Martin Horn, Murat Gökmen, Dieter Groosjung, and Orhan Erogul.
Group B: Stefan Galla, Ronny Lindemann, Markus Galla and Christos Christodoulidis.
Group C: Christian Rudolph, Klaus Bosel, Ramazan Durdu and Uwe Kerls.
Group D: Thorsten Frings, Johann Schirmbrand, Roger Liere and Dustin Jäschke.
In the groups will be played to 40 points with a time limit of 50 seconds.
