HERENTALS - The Belgian champion team Biljart Express is in the winning mood and has again achieved the maximum 8-0 victory on the penultimate match day. The away match against Herentals did not cause any problems. The new title holder already booked a maximum win five times in the second round. The competitors again lost points, so that Biljart Express has a six point lead on BC Deurne noe and ten points on De Goeie Queue. Zanzibar is in great danger in the lower regions. Club De Leug and Biljartpalace also are in the relegation fight.

At Biljart Express against BC Herentals, Eddy Merckx was the better of Martin Horn (50-27 in 25). Frans van Kuyk defeated Christian Rudolph 50-40 in 29 and Gerwin Valentijn and Martin Spoormans had a big advantage over Geert Meylemans and Leon Smolders in 27 and 37 innings. The tension at the top was already gone. BC Deurne apparently lacked motivation and lost without a chance in the home match against De Witte Molen, 1-7. De Goeie Queue was beaten by Kortrijkse 6-2.

Zanzibar has lost the spirit. The away match against another candidate for relegation was lost 8-0. Frank de Groof defeated Roland Forthomme 50-48 in 31 innings. Op de Meir also lost to one of the lower teams: De Ploeg won 5-3. Mister 100 recorded a 7-1 win in the away match against Biljartpalace and is in safety now.
