Blomdahl makes seven for the draw vs Forthomme

ANDERNOS/ROUEN - The last regular match day in the group with Andernos, Laxou, Rouen and Gravelines were decisive for the positions at the end of the competition. Andernos won the match against Laxou 5-3, Rouen defeated Gravelines 8-0. That means for Laxou that they finish in second place, Rouen misses the playoffs by winning matches. Roland Forthomme and Torbjörn Blomdahl played an excellent game, in which the Swede was able to draw with seven in the equalizer.

In the Rouen team, Javier Palazón and Michael Devogelaere were the best winners. The Spaniard bested Martin Spoormans 50-27 in 26. Devogelaere beat Ronny Daniels 50-36 in 29 innings.

Roland Forthomme and Martin Horn finished in the encounter between Andernos and Laxou both in 29 innings. The German defeated Jérôme Barbeillon 50-41 in 29. Forthomme scored his last and put 50-43 on the score board, but Blomdahl came back closed the match with a final run of seven.

That brought the final score to 5-3 for Andernos, after Marc Boigneres won the match against Matthieu Franck 50-27 in 49 and Francis Connesson beat Pierre Soumagne 50-39 in 43.

Andernos remained unbeaten in this group with 1.374 average and twelve match points.
Laxou and Rouen and follow with six points, but the game points are in favor of Laxou, which ended up with an average of 1.254. Rouen took 1.244.

The two clubs that relegated out of the highest league are Villeneuve d'Ascq and Gravelines.
