Brillant start Polychronopoulos in France

ANDERNOS - The Greek star player Nikos Polychronopoulos made a stunning start for Andernos in the French league with a 50 points match in 14 innings and a run of seventeen! Andernos shone in the encounter with St Maur on all fronts: 8-0. Polychronopoulos, who plays on first position, came into the team to replace Filipos Kasidokostas. Roland Forthomme is the player on two and with French players Jérôme Barbeillon and Francis Connesson, Andernos is definitely one of the favourites for the title.

The start of Nikos Polychronopoulos, number eight on the world rankings, was impressive with runs of nine in the second, 11 in the eighth and later the highest day run of 17 in his match against Jean-Christophe Roux. The Frenchman finished with 6, 3 and 5 and came to an average of 2.357, the Greek finished 3.571.

Roland Forthomme had a flawless start against Thierry Roux, 22-9 and 27-18 on the scoreboard. The Frenchman came back to 32-27, but Forthomme finished 50-37 in 32.

The numbers three and four, completed the success of the Andernos team. Francis Connesson defeated Jean-Luc Miller 50-27 in 40, Jérôme Barbeillon managed to beat Louis Edelin in the final part 50-47 in 42.

Andernos took the lead in Group B by the 8-0 victory, Albert was the other winner.
