Caudron, Blomdahl and Jaspers in Annecy

ANNECY - The Pro-Am Billiards Annecy is hosting a tournament, starting on Friday (August 22) with three world class players, Frédéric Caudron, Torbjörn Blomdahl and Dick Jaspers and the French champion Jérôme Barbeillon among the participants. The draw will be on Friday at 16.00.

The sixteen participants will be classified according to the UMB ranking and the French national rankings. On the first day will be played at 16.30, 18.00, 19.30 and 21.00. The top four seeded players start off their first matches Saturday. Didier Tromas (Kozoom) provides live the broadcasts of all matches.

From 10:00 until 19:00 on Saturday, Caudron, Blomdahl, Jaspers and Barbeillon come to the tables for three matches. The professionals play to 35 caroms, the French talent Gwendal Marshal to 28, the amateurs to 25 points. The maximum number of innings per match is 40. The top two finishers in each group will play the quarterfinals on Sunday mornin, the semifinals are at 14.30, the final at 16.30.

The matches in the final phase are played to 40, 33 and 30 points.
