Frédéric Caudron put himself in the spotlights in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD - Frédéric Caudron has made a clean sweep in the final with eight players in the Million Dollard tournament in Hollywood. The Belgian remained unbeaten in the final phase when he beat his two main opponents Kyung Roul Kim and Pedro Piedrabuena.

The world champion was superior and close to his brilliant best with 14 match points, 2.079 average and a run of eleven. Korean giant Kyung-Roul Kim is second with twelve points, 1.385 and a 12-run ahead of Piedrabuena with ten match points, 1.344 and a run of 11.

In the decisive match, Caudron launched his final sprint targeting the end win and beat Kim 30-18 in 15 innings. He also bested Piedrabuena in an excellent match, the best in the finals: 30-14 in 10 innings. The match for the second place was won by Kim, who defeated Piedrabuena 30-21.

The numbers four until eight were Palafox, Khalifa, Pineda, M. Kim and Castillo.
