RONCHIN - Céline Jacques from Lille has won the first national women's tournament three cushion of this season. The northern French defeated Sandrine Ducrocq from Saint-Maur des Fosses in the final. Céline's victory brought an end to the hegemony of Christine Morel, who had won the tournament three times in a row.
Céline Jacques was the strongest in the final against Sandrine Ducrocq 25-21 in 50 innings and played the best run of the tournament with five. Before the final match she defeated successively Christiane Dugue 25-13 in 50, Aida Lehbil 25-24 in 50 and Christine Morel in the semifinals 25-15 in 30 innings.
Céline Jacques recorded 0.552 overall average on the 2.60 table.
Sandrine Ducrocq defeated Alexandrine Berton, Brigitte Gaultier and finally Julie Dechamps in the semifinals 25-21 in 52. Her average was 0.453.
Christine Morel (0.551) and Julie Dechamps (0.491) complete the podium.
