Dick Jaspers showed up with another great match in Belgium

MALLE/LEUVEN/SINT TRUIDEN - The battle for two podium places, behind the Belgian champion, continues undiminished: De Goeie Queue itself remains very motivated to the end of the competition. The home match against BC De Ploeg was won 8-0. Dick Jaspers (2.500), Frédéric Caudron (2.173) and Jean Paul de Bruijn (1.909) were the stars in this round.

BC Deurne and BC Op de Meir will battle it out in a neck-and-neck race for the second place with only one match to go. Both teams have gathered 29 points, twelve points behind the untouchable De Goeie Queue. BC Deurne plays its last game against Biljart Express, Op de Meir faces Sint Truidense. Frédéric Caudron outshone one of German's best players, Ronny the Rocket Lindemann, by a safe margin (50-38 in 23), Dick Japers was superior against Huub Wilkowski (50-19 in 20), Jean Paul de Bruijn defeated the strong playing Eddy Willems (42 -36 to 22) and only Dirk Weeremans caused some tension in his match against Eddy Merckx: 42-40 in 32.

BC Op de Meir snatched the win and tormented KBC Zanzibar in an away match. The Forthomme team was knocked down 7-1 in a good performance. Roland Uytdewilligen fired up his team and was the best man of the evening against Kenny Miatton (42-28 in 22). Eddy Leppens finished off the job in the prestige duel with Forthomme 50-33 in 30. Martin Horn was the only winner for his team: he defeated Glenn Hofman
