Christmas tournament gets a German flavor

The players of the home team are all invited

ZUNDERT - The traditional Christmas tournament in Biljartcentrum Den Hoek in Zundert is a meeting between three countries this year. The organization has invited the Germans Martin Horn, Dustin Jäschke and Thorsten Frings. The Frenchman Pierre Soumagne is also among the sixteen participants.

Without the Belgian Frédéric Caudron, who belonged to the star players every year and beat Eddy Leppens for his eleventh win last year (75-63 in 36 innings), it turns out into a tournament with six Dutch, six Belgians, three Germans and one Frenchman .

The players who were invited last year and are absent this year are not only Caudron, also the Turks Tayfun Tasdemir and Murat Naci Coklu, Frans van Kuyk, Jef Philipoom, Jean Paul de Bruijn, Jeffrey Jorissen and Davy van Havere.

The Christmas tournament starts on Sunday, December 27th. The semi-finals and final are Wednesday December 30th.
