Coklu double winner in Turkey: second Grand Prix win

ANTALYA - Murat Naci Coklu has also won the second Grand Prix of the season in Turkey. In the Bosphorus hotel in Antalya, where the World Cup was played two weeks ago, Coklu took victory by a final win over Lütfi Cenet, 40-27 in 26 innings. In the first Grand Prix, Coklu defeated Turgay Orak in the final. With his victory, Coklu strengthened his leading position on the Turkish ranking.

The best Turk in the world rankings opened his way to the final with victories over Can Capak in the quarter finals (40-33 in 19) and Birol Uymaz in the semi-finals (40-37 in 31). Lütfi Cenet reached the final by a win over Tayfun Tasdemir in a remarkable match. Tasdemir scored the best tournament run of 19 in the first inning. Cenet was the better in the second part and won 40-28 in 13 innings.

Birol Uymaz shone in the quarter finals against Serdal Bas, 40-38 in 20, Lütfi Cenet defeated Tolgahan Kiraz (40-38 in 31) and Tasdemir was the strongest in the match with Muammer Rahmet 40-14 in 18 innings.
