PRAGUE - The Czech club of Mr. Jiri Vitek enters coming season with big changes in its classic team. The club name from the original Anag changes to BC Vítkov Prague and the team for the European championship in classic disciplines has a new star player.
With Czech balk line player Marek Faus and after signing Eddy Leppens earlier this summer, defending 1-cushion World champion Wolfgang Zenkner is the third player for the team in the European championship classic disciplines.
Main goal for this team is for sure to qualify in the preliminaries, which will be played on 15th and 16th of March 2015 in Rosmalen, the Netherlands, where European champion Etikon has its billiard home.
BC Vítkov will play the qualification round like last year with a B team, which is completely Czech. The experienced Janis Ziogas is the leading player in a team with two youngsters Adam Baca and Adam Kozak.
This year's championship promises a high quality cast and BC Vítkov players are looking forward to great matches with famous opponents.
