Dani Sánchez played a superb match in the league: 3.636 average

MADRID - The multiple Spanish champion Dani Sánchez flaunted with a high-class victory in the eighth round of the Spanish team competition: he only needed eleven innings to beat Sergio Jimenez 40-19 (averages 3.636/1.727). Sánchez'match was by far the most attractive of this round.

The all-time best in Spain and Sergio Jimenez always meet each other in high quality games. This time was by far the best, although Sanchez went with the flow and Jimenez played second fiddle.

In Sabadell, where Coral Colon and Montmélo faced each other, the audience enjoyed more strong matches. The home team set a blistering pace with its four players. Jose Maria Mas finished his match in 26 innings, Carlos Crespo, just returned from Florid, in 23 innings.

Montmélo, the number two ranked, showed itself a tough opponent, but only Alejandro Pérez won his match in 29 innings. Despite losing 6-2, Montmélo achieved 1.472 average.

The most important match in Group B was between Mataro and Valencia. The Catalans won (6-2), thanks to individual triumphs of Antonio Montes, Pau Benitez and Esteve Mata. Javier Palazón was the only winner for the opponent.

In Group C, where Ruben Legázpi suffered an unexpected defeat, the contenders Circulo Mercantil de Vigo and Getafe played a draw.

Barcelona and Sants stay on top in Group D, although Sants could not take the ful profit.
