BAD WILDUNGEN - Sven Daske in free game and Thomas Nockemann in balk-line 47/2 are the first champions at the German title race in all disciplines. The multi-championship is played in Bad Wildungen this week.
Sven Daske from Hamburg was superior in the free game, in which he defeated Carsten Lässig in the final 300-0 in one inning. Daske also triumphed 300-0 in one inning against Thomas Berger in the semi-finals. Carsten Lässig reached the final by defeating Manuel Ortmann 300-28 in five innings.
Sven Daske, a record champion in the German championships, also bested Markus Melerski in the group stage in one inning: 300-125.
Thomas Nockemann managed to beat Dieter Steinberger in the final 200-29 in one inning. That final match was the best in the tournament.
Sven Daske missed the final by a defeat against Thomas Nockemann in the semi-finals 200-8 in three innings. Dieter Steinberger secured victory against Arnd Riedel 200-15 in six innings.
The final was a great one-man show of Bochummer Nockemann. Steinberger started with 29, Nockemann responded with a flawless run of 200. The winner recorded 30.88 overall average.
