REUSEL - With four match points in two matches the team of De Vrachtkar has advanced to the subtop in the Dutch league. On Friday night the team, who played with Marco Zanetti, won 6-2 against Dekker Keukens, today there was a victory for the team against DBL Holland: 6-2.
It were the most remarkable results in the eighteenth round of the competition, although the first match of De Vrachtkar was a duel from the twelfth round.
Marco Zanetti was the great man for De Vrachtkar in the fight to save their lives, with wins against Jef Philipoom (50-25 in 29) and Murat Naci Coklu (50-36 in 25). De Vrachtkar now can continue almost certainly the stay in the Premier League. The candidates for demote are Verbrugge-Hyndai, DBL Holland and Emar Logistics.
TOVV had to give priority to Delta in Sluiskil without Eddy Merckx in the team. Jean Paul de Bruijn made an excellent impression again with a victory over Richard Bitalis in 26 innings (50-38). In the team of Delta only Eddy Leppens lost his match against Dave Christiani.
The leader, Van Donge en De Roo, without Dick Jaspers and Torbjörn Blomdahl, who played in Agipi Masters like Eddy Merckx, grabbed the win against Emar Logistics. Jean van Erp was the only one who lost, Martin Horn (50-36 in 22 against Forton), Ad Koorevaar and Ruud Nieuwenburg took the full win.
Crystal Kelly follows the leader on four points. The Waalwijk team defeated Snellen Recycling in his home in Zundert, 6-2. Most striking was the win of Frans van Kuik against Roland Forthomme: 50-22 in 20 innings. Raimond Burgman beat Peter Ceulemans (50-28 in 34).
Jef Philipoom lost for Dekker Kitchens for the second time in three days. Ronny Daniels showed himself with Verbrugge too strong for the leader of Dekker: 50-38 in 30 innings. Gerwin Valentine played the best match of the afternoon in Sluiskil in 27 innings against Kees Wittens.
