Diane Wild the new president of CEB

ROME - Diane Wild is the new president of the CEB, the European Billiard Federation. The Swiss has been elected one hour ago at the CEB Congress in Rome. Miss Wild was announced as a candidate, like the current chairman Bennie Deegens from the Netherlands. Diane Wild was already part of the CEB board and was known as the organizer of the Lausanne Billard Masters.

Diane Wild was elected at the congress in Rome with an overwhelming majority: 58 to 17 votes. She is the new leader of the European Federation for the coming years.

Also Helmut Bierman, the German Secretary-General of the CEB, was no longer elected in the board. The Frenchman, Pierre Reynaert will replace him with 41 to 34 votes.

The board meeting and elections for other positions are still in progress.
