Dion Nelin best player, BK Grøndal takes the title in Final Four

VARDE - For the 4th time running and 11th time overall, BK Grøndal Copenhagen took the national title in 3-cushion for club teams in Denmark. At the Final Four playoffs in Varde, the new champion played a 4-4 draw against the team from Varde BK in the final game. BK Grøndal won the match on total score, because they made 176 caroms to 133 from Varde BK. BK Grøndal played with a total team average of 1.600.
 
Dion Nelin won against Brian Zola Hansen 50-19 in 23 innings, playing 2.173. Brian Knudsen bested Thomas Andersen 42-22 in 23 innings, playing 1.826. Michael Nilsson (Varde BK) defeated Tonny Carlsen 50-49 in 27 innings, playing 1.851. Nilsson was 47-27 down, but finished with 12-1-10 in his last 3 innings. He thereby won the match.
 
The Danish champion, Allan Schrøder, who plays for Varde BK, won the last match against the Nordic champion, Lars Dunch, 42-35 in 37 innings, playing 1.135.
 
In the two semi-finals, BK Grøndal won agaisnt Vejle 6-2, Varde BK won with the same numbers against BK 2004.
 
Michael Nielsson made the highest run of 12.
Allan Keith, Brian Zola Hansen and Lars Dunch (In both matches) made a run of 10.
Dion Nelin played the best game, 2.173 average.
Dion Nelin also had the best total average, 2.083.
