HAARLO/SLUISKIL/THE HAGUE - The Dutch three cushion league (Buffalo League) is approaching the final weekend to determine the three teams for the play-offs. The twelve teams meet each other in a double weekend on Saturday, 18th of March and Sunday 19 March. Eureka Billard, the leader, has already secured the place in the play-offs, the teams in race for the second and third place are Medisch Centrum Breda, A1 Biljrts, HCR Prinsen, Dallinga.com and Buffalo.nl.
MC Breda and A1 Biljarts are, according to the ranking, the main contenders to finish in the top three. Eureka Billard has 31 points out of twenty mtches, Medisch Centrum Breda 27 and A1 Biljarts 26. The top three is followed by HCR Prinsen with 25 points, Dallinga.com 24 and Buffalo.nl 23 points.
Burgmans Biljars and Bousema Lochem are in the battle to survive. The Lochem squad has 11 points with two matches to go, Burgmans 12 points with the most tough weekend.
X Eureka Billard will finish as the number one and will play against TOVV/ Royal Pro on Saturday. On Sunday the team closes with the away match against Burgmans Biljarts.
X Medisch Centrum Breda opens with an away match against TOVV 2 to finish in top three. On Sunday the Zundert team meets Dallinga.com at home.
X A1 Biljarts starts the crucial weekend with an away game against Dallinga.com on Saturday and continues on Sunday at home against Prinsen, two major competitors thus in the double.
X HCR Prinsen opens against Burgmans Biljarts on Saturday and travels to A1 Biljarts on Sunday.
X Dallinga.com also is facing a tour de force: on Saturday at home against A1 Biljarts, on Sunday the away match against Medisch Centrum Breda.
X Buffalo.nl, the team with a little chance to reach the best three, opens against Team Eekhoorn in The Hague and closes on Sunday against TOVV/Royal Pro in Vlaardingen.
As for the bottom teams, Bousema Lochem tries to survive in an away game against 't Hartje/Van Wanrooy and meets TOVV 2 at home on Sunday. Burgmans Biljarts playes away against Prinsen and at home against the leader Eureka Billard.

This afternoon, Friday, HCR Prinsen plays the cup match against TOVV/Royal Pro. The dual meet is decisive for a place in the cup final. From 15.00 this afternoon, Kozoom broadcasts the matches live.
