European Ladies Cup with strong line-up

ROSMALEN - The European Ladies Cup, divided into three cushion and free-game tournaments, has attracted a strong field of players in Rosmalen (Netherlands) next month. Sixteen ladies, from ten different countries, show up in three cushion. The free game is played with eight ladies. Therese Klompenhouwer is the number one ranked player in three cushion.

The tournament in both disciplines is played in De Hazelaar in Rosmalen on 16, 17 and 18 June. Henny Wezenbeek and Rinus Persoons are the sport directors on behalf of the KNBB.

The three-cushion event, with all European top players, starts in four groups of four to 25 points, in the finals to 30 caroms. In free game, the eight ladies play in two groups, in the preliminary rounds to 120 and in the final round to 150 caroms.

The winner will receive 400 euros in both disciplines, the losing finalist 300 and the losers in the semi finals 200 euros.
