Latin American tournament with 160 top players

MANIZALES - The city of Manizales in Colombia is hosting one of the most famous Grand Prix tournaments in Latin America in the upcoming days: the Feria de Manzales. The event is very popular among the South American three cushion players. 160 participants come from Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Chile and the United States.

The tournament is sponsored by the Mayor of the city, who launched the event on Sunday. The eighteenth edition will be held at the Coliseum San Luis Gonzaga, in two phases, the qualification and the main tournament, both in three days.

The qualification is played in groups of three or four players and matches to sets of fifteen. The main tournament consists of 16 groups of four players, the two best advance for the knock-out phase.

The images are broadcast live on kozoom.com, from Wednesday, January 8th a premium pass is required.

The Colombian delegation is stronger than ever and is led by the local top players Huberney Catano, Andres Naranjo and Daniel Morales, also Robinson and Julian Morales, Heriberto Aristizabal, Gabriel Vasquez, Andres Miguel Romero, Carloman Ortiz, Santiago Carmona, Edwin Perez and Luis Martinez are contenders for victory.

The arrival of Luis Aveiga and his compatriot Javier Teran Ecuador is also expected.
