Filipos Kasidokostas shines for Andernos

Filipos Kasidokostas played the best match of the evening for the leading team of Andernos.

ALBERT - The team of Andernos with Dick Jaspers, Filipos Kasidokostas, Jérôme Barbeillon and Francis Connesson kept his unbeaten status on the fourth day of the French league. The new leader overwhelmed the team of Retro Albert in an away match 8-0.

Filipos Kasidokostas was the ace of the night in his match against Kurt Ceulemans, which he won 50-26 in eighteen innings. The Greek shone with two runs of eleven and one of eight.

Dick Jaspers showed himself stronger in the final stage of his match against Peter Ceulemans. The Belgian closed a backlog of 40-30 with a run of eight, but Jaspers used his last innings for a superior sprint to 50-41 in 24 innings.

The other two matches also finished in wins for the Girondins. Jérôme Barbeillon defeated Cédric Melnytschenko (50-29 in 39) and Francis Connesson beat Olivier Jonard 50-46 in 46.

The victory means that Andernos is the new leader with the maximum score of six match points in three games. Agipi, the reigning champion, follows two match points behind, but has to catch up on match against Kozoom.

Retro Albert, that started the competition with a sensational victory against Clichy, remains at two match points in four games.
