The top four in the Open Barrage with Filippos Kasidokostas as the great winner.

ATHENS - He performed on a higher level than the top four players in the Lausanne Billard Masters, he will not play the final in the Agipi Masters, but with all his brilliance Filippos Kasidokostas won the Open Barrage tournament in Athens. He could end up holding the trophy.

In the final, the Greek top gun defeated his great rival and compatriot Nikos Polychronopoulos 40-27 in sixteen innings. Even more impressive was his tournament average: 2.353.

The Open Barrage tournament, organized by Nikos Chatzipavlis and his club, with more than a hundred participants, was a great success. The Greeks dominated, despite the strong field with Turks as Murat Tüzül, Birol Uymaz, Adnan Yüksel and Spaniard Jose Maria Mas.

Nikos Polychronopoulos shone with some great matches and high runs, Filippos Kasidokostas was the great luminary and deserved winner.

In the final phase, he outplayed successively Koray Kirman (40 in 17), Murat Tüzül (40 in 8), Kostas Kokkoris (40 in 23) and finally Nikos Polychronopoulos, in a match that he dominated from the start.
