THE HAGUE - The final weekend in the Dutch three cushion premier league, the Buffalo league will be tomorrow (Saturday April 20) and Sunday (April 21) is decisive for the final places in the play-offs. In theory, six teams are still in the race for four positions. The title holder, SIS Schoonmaak from The Hague, is already assured of playing the final four, in which two semi-finals and the final will be played. During the last, double weekend, some crucial matches will be played.
Saturday:
Bousema Lochem plays a home match against SIS Schoonmaak with the top match Murat Naci Coklu against Glenn Hofman.
L&B Ledermode plays against 't Hartje with Eddy Merckx against Savas Bulut.
HCR Prinsen faces an absolute star match against STZ Zundert with Dick Jaspers-Roland Forthomme and Eddy Leppens-Peter Ceulemans.
Decisive for relegation that day is A1 Biljarts against Aardexpress with Palazón-Lindemann.
Sunday:
SIS Schoonmaak plays against HCR Prinsen in The Hague with Hofman-Jaspers and Van Erp-Leppens as crucial matches.
L&B Ledermode plays the top match against Bousema Lochem with Merckx-Coklu, Christiani-Horn and De Backer-Loncelle.
STZ Zundert closes the regular competition with a home game against 't Hartje with Forthomme-Bulut on center court.
SIS Schoonmaak is out of reach of the pursuers with 35 points out of 20 matches. Just below, the battle is going on: Bousema Lochem leads the next three places in the play-offs with 28 points, L&B Ledermode and STZ Zundert gathered 27 points, HCR Prinsen faces a tough race to catch up with a home match against Zundert and an away match against SIS Schoonmaak. Dallinga.com has a very theoretical chance, but needs a small miracle being four points down at the numbers three and four, L&B Ledermode and STZ Zundert.
A1 Biljarts and Aardexpress are in a battle to escape the second relegation position. Burgmans Biljarts already made the descent to the first division. A1 Biljarts is at 12 points, Aardexpress at 9 points. The match on Saturday (A1 Biljarts-Aardexpress) can therefore already be decisive. A1 Biljarts needs a draw to play safely.
