The first champions on stage at the German Multi tournament

BAD WILDUNGEN - In the German championship all disciplines, the first of 37 champions are known. In the lobby of the venue in Bad Wildungen, the champions were honoured in free game, biathlon, artistic billiard and pool billiard.

Manuel Orttmann from Thuringen took the title in the free game by defeating the favourite and title defender Sven Daske 300-167 in 9. The final match was by far not the best of the tournament.

Manuel Orttmann scored his 300 points in the semi-final against Markus Melerski in the second innings by a run of 297. Melerski, with one point on the score board, levelled with 299 from the spots. In the shootout, Orttmann started with the maximum 30 , Melerski missed out after one carom.

Sven Daske won the second semi-final against Dieter Steinberger 300-0 in one, after he also had scored 300 in 1 in his opening match against Carsten Lässig.

The new German champion in the artistic billiard is 28-year-old Marvin Heinrich, who defeated Bernd Singer in a thrilling final 3-2.

The semi-finalists in balkline 47/2 are also known. Manuel Orttmann is no longer in the race after losses against Thomas Nockemann and Dieter Steinberger. Those two meet Carsten Lässig and Sven Daske in the semis.

The last four in ladies three cushion are Steffi Daske, Katja Titze, Vanessa Hemesath and Gloria Abbenath.
