Roland Forthomme defeatd Caudron in his match for Andernos.

The victory of Roland Forthomme in his match with Frédéric Caudron, last night in the French league, did not influence the outcome of the match between Andernos and Agipi. The champion team of Agipi won the match 6-2 by victories of Marco Zanetti, Jérémy Bury and Jean-Christophe Roux. The team from Schiltigheim is increased with six points in three matches in Group 2 of the league.

Forthomme and Caudron brought the score in their mutual matches this year in balance again. Caudron won in the Belgian league, where he plays for Kasteeldreef, with 50-43 in 29 innings, in the Dutch league for Crystal Kelly he won 50-28 in sixteen innings.

Forthomme defeated his rival in the semi finals of the Superprestige in Lommel 40-23 in 20 innings and won later that day the final against Peter de Backer. And last night Forthomme, who plays for Andernos in France, the strongest again. Caudron was defeated 50-40 in 29 innings.

The two Belgian top players tomorrow night in the VES tournament in Sint Niklaas again face each other in the semifinals.

The Agipi team expressed himself last night as the tipped champion against Andernos. However Caudron lost his points, Zanetti, Bury and Roux took the full profit.

Marco Zanetti fought back after a breakaway by Peter de Backer with a run of eleven and had an adventage of eleven points at the finish. Jean Christophe Roux won 50-43 with a run of ten against Marc Borgnères and Jérémy Bury defeated the still ambitious French billiards legend Francis Connesson 50-36.
