Roland Forthomme, on top of the ranking in Holland by average

ZUNDERT/HAARLO - The fireworks at the Masters have been shut down and what remains is the wonderful memory of the event, with its full stands and great organization. The main players, with Dick Jaspers as the winner again, return to their own billiard arenas this weekend for the eleventh weekend of competition in the Buffalo League. The second half starts with SIS Cleaning in the lead with 19 points, followed by Zundert with 15, Prinsen and Bousema with 14 and L&B Ledermode and Dallinga with 13.

Roland Forthomme entered the winter stop having the best average of the players who played 10 and 11 matches. The Belgian number one on Zundert's team recorded 1.878 over eleven matches. He is followed by Glenn Hofman with 1.591, Jean Paul de Bruijn with 1.517, Jean van Erp with 1.498, Frans van Kuyk with 1.482, Dave Christiani with 1.477 and Jeffrey Jorissen with 1.450.

Frédéric Caudron is the player with the best average, but less matches played: 2.197 out of 5, followed by Dick Jaspers with 1.872 in 5, David Martinez with 1.851 in 4, Eddy Merckx with 1.629 in 7, Martin Horn with 1.686 in 5 and Eddy Leppens with 1.507 in 8. Two players with high averages, who play in two divisions, are Jef Philipoom with 1.543 and Thorsten Frings with 1.461.

The Dutch players are looking for team spirit again this Sunday as many well-known foreign players come over to strengthen the teams in the premier division. The Belgians among others with Forthomme, Caudron and Merckx, the Germans with Horn and Rudolph, the Spaniards with Martinez and Palazón and Bulut plays for Turkey.
