Four finals on the last day in Europeans

The venue for the final day at the European championship in Brandenburg an der Havel

BRANDENBURG AN DER HAVEL - Two Dutch players are in the final at the European championship balkline 71/2 on the early morning of the final day. Dave Christiani defeated his German opponent Thomas Nockemann in the semifinals in one inning (200-8), Raymund Swertz dealt in three innings with the Spaniard Raul Cuenca (200-135).

Therese Klompenhouwer and Karina Jetten, showing up for the Netherlands, Danielle le Bruyn and Jaimie Buelens for Belgium and Gülsen Degener and Guzin Karakasli for Turkey make a shot at the medals in the women's three cushion. The other two players in the quarterfinals are Marianne Mortensen and Helga Mitterböck.

The matches in the quarterfinals are:

The quarter-finals are this morning, Sunday, at 9.00. The semifinals are at 12.00, the final at 15.00.

Eight players are left for the quarterfinals in the artistic championship. The reigning champion Eric Daelman was outplayed in the quarter finals by the Turk Baris Cin. Three Dutch, Sander Jonen, René Dericks and Erik Vijverberg are also out after losses in the first round.
