Four teams in battle for French title

The Andernos team is the defending titleholder

ARCACHON - The defending champion and European number two Andernos is hosting the French team championship in Arcachon next weekend. The four teams in the top division meet on Saturday 27th and Sunday June 28th. They qualified during the regular season. The final is played in Arcachon, a few kilometres from the club Andernos.

Six world champions are in action during the tournament in the Basin of Arcachon. Kozoom broadcast the matches live for its premium subscribers.

The semi-finals will be played between Andernos and Saint-Maur and between CetSI Morangis and Laxou. The four teams were the top two of Group A (Andernos and CetSi) and Group B (Laxou and St Maur). Jérémy Bury can't show up for professional reasons in the St Maur team.

19.00: CetSI Morangis-Laxou (players 1 and 2)

Sunday:

09.00: Small final (players 3 and 4)
11.00: Small final (players 1 and 2)
13.30: Final (players 3 and 4)
15.30: Final (players 1 and 2).

Gravelines and Albert, the numbers three in the groups, will remain in the top division for next year. Colmar and Kozoom get behind to the second division and are replaced by Rouen and Villeneuve d'Ascq. Rouen has strengthened the team and plays with Dick Jaspers and Ruben Legazpi (each three matches), Javier Palazón, Michael Devogelaere and Vincent Facquet.

The four teams ot only battle for the French title, also for the European preliminaries next year.
