3-Cushion
COPENHAGEN - In the Danish capital, Copenhagen, the championship for teams in 3-cushion will be played tomorrow, Sunday the 3rd of March. The Final Four of The Søren Søgaard Premier League is an annuel important event in the tournament calendar of The Danish Billiard Federation. Is it a 3-cushion tournament with international attention, because of the always high level of playing and the participation of world class players from Denmark and Europe.
The modus is a one day event, with four participating clubs. The clubs have all qualified for places at the Final Four during the regular season in The Søren Søgaard Premier League, where eight clubs meat each other home and away. The Final Four tournament is played in 3 team matches, two semifinals between ranked team 1 and 4 and likewise seeded team 2-3. The two winners then play a championschip deciding match.
The distance: 2 x 50 points and 2 x 42 points.
Two time-outs per player and a 40 second shot clock.
The four participating teams are:
1. BK Grøndal (Dion Nelin, Jacok Haack Sørensen, Brian Knudsen and Tonny Carlsen)
2. Varde BK (Eddy Leppens, Brian Zola Hansen, Allan Schrøder and Thomas Andersen)
3. CCB Brønshøj (René Hendriksen, Lars Dunch, Carsten Hjøllund and Dan Johansen)
4. Vejle BB (Martin Olesen, Allan Keith, Benny Staalbo and Michael Toudahl)

10.30 Opening ceremony and presentation of the clubs and the players
11.00 BK Grøndal vs. Vejle BK
13.00 Varde BK vs. CCB Brønshøj
16.00 Final
18.00 Medal ceremony
The President of the Danish Billiard Federation, Mr. Flemming Busk Knudsen, wil be in charge of ceremony and event management. The Danish Billiard Federation makes a Live streaming transmission all day. There will be an extended Live streaming from table 1 with commentary.
