Dick Jaspers and Frédéric Caudron will show up in the semi finals with Cho and Zanetti.

SCHILTIGHEIM - Mr. Claude Fath, the organizer of the Agipi Masters, would dare to dream out loud. His tournament, the sixth in a row, comes to an end tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday and from four players in the semifinals, two players belong to his star team.

Marco Zanetti qualified already yesterday, Frédéric Caudron joined the semi-finalists as the fourth player.
The matches for the semi-finals (Saturday) are:
Dick Jaspers Marco Zanetti (18.00)
Frédéric Caudron-Jae Ho Cho (21.00).

Frédéric Caudron bested Martin Horn in the last evening session, including with two runs of 9, with which he forced the decision in the middle of the match.

,,But I still didn’t feel comfortable with a lead of twenty points,'' the Belgian said afterwards. ,,Martin answered with six, but then missed a few good chances. More or less, I must say that the table was not the same as in the preliminary rounds, with new cloths and another touch when the ball hit the cushions.’’

Frédéric Caudron took his place amongst the semi-finalists in the Agipi tournaments for the fourth time. Twice he lost in the semifinals against Dick Jaspers (2008, 2009), once the Dutchman beat him in the final (2010).

His first major success in the Agipi Masters come closer, but he has to take another obstacle before the final: Korean Jae Ho Cho.

,,I met him only once in a match, but of course I know he is a world class player, who already defeated many big name opponents.’’

And before the dream of the Agipi-final comes throug, Marco Zanetti has to pass Dick Jaspers in the semi’s as well.

Frédéric Caudron took his advantage in the match against Martin Horn in the middle of the game. Then he made the gap with two 9-runs, which brought him to 39-19. He ended up with five in 25 innings: 50-31.
