MALLE - Frédéric Caudron wants to sell the diamond cue he received after winning the three cushion world title in Antwerp. The Belgian won his second world championship on October 15, 2013 for his home crowd in the Antwerp Lottohal. He defeated the Greek Filippos Kasidokostas in the final match.

The cue, brand Molinari, encrusted with 80 diamonds, has been in Caudron’s trophy room these two years. ,,The cue is too heavy to play with, due to the diamonds. Moreover, I am not allowed to play with Molinari.’’

The estimated value, according to the World championship organizer, was 20.000 euros. ,,It was a gift of great, artistic value, but only the title counts for me. The cue has no emotional value. You could say, it's sleeping at my house without meaning anything.’’

To sell the cue, Caudron started the well known ebay system: a global online marketplace where sellers list an object that is sold by auction. The starting price is 3.000 euros.

The auction has already started and will last until 1 November 10.30 CET. People,,I expect the real collectors to bid, not the billiard players’’, says Caudron. who are interested, can make a bid by ebay. The highest bidder wins the cue.
