Gérassimopoulos dominates the season in 47/2

DIJON - Andernos-player Nicolas Gérassimopoulos has won his second national tournament in France in the balk-line 47/2 this year. In Dijon he defeated David Jacquet 250-1 in five innings. After he already dominated in Schiltigheim, it was Gérassimopoulos' second win in three tournaments.

In his first match, the later winner defeated Julian Marchal 250-147 in fifteen. From then, he increased he level with four wins in 7, 6, 3 and 5 innings against Benjamin Ikkache, Brahim Djoubri, in the quarterfinals Willy Gérimont and finally David Jacquet.

In the final ranking Gérassimopoulos is the proud leader with 321 points and 40.83 overall. With two victories and one lost final he took a big advantage. David Jacquet is second with 30.33, Gérimont third with 44.15 and Jean-François Florent fourth with 29.39.
