The German championship all disciplines, starting this Saturday for a 9 days event

BAD WILDUNGEN - The German multi-championships in all billiard disciplines is starting off at the famous German sports venue in Bad Wildungen on Saturday (4 November). In the tournament over 9 days, 37 national titles can be won, there is a field of 350 participants. The location is the Kurort in Bad Wildungen, the tournament hall is in the Wandelhalle.

With more than 20 billiard tables, the event is one of the biggest billiard events in Europe. All disciplines are played, not just carom billiards, also snooker and pool. The German championship in this form has been a big success story for the so-called marginal sports for over ten years.

The schedule includes six championships for men on the match table. Sven Daske, the most successful medalist, starts in four disciplines. This also applies to Carsten Lässig.

The highlight is the three-cushion battle, which is played with sixteen players, divided over four groups. The title defender is Ronny Lindemann. Christian Rudolph, last year's finalist, had to cancel because of the World championship in Bolivia at the same time. The timing is regrettable, because Rudolph can miss important ranking points. Martin Horn returns to the national championship and is undoubtedly one of the big favourites.
