The championships in Bad Wildungen start this weekend

BAD WILDUNGEN - The German billiard players in all disciplines are starting off their medal race as of this weekend. They play in Bad Wildungen for the medals in all disciplines, starting with artistic billiards in the first days and finishing in three cushion from 19 to 22 November. Martin Horn is one of the players in the Lausanne Billard Masters that weekend. He has cancelled his participation at the German championship.

In total will be played for 25 titles in ten days in Bad Wildungen. The traditional location is the Wandelhalle in Bad Wildungen, which is the center of the German billiards world in these days.

In the classic games is played with eight participants into two groups. The two group winners and runners-up qualify for the semi-finals. Three cushion is played with sixteen players divided into four groups. After the group matches, the group winners and runners-up advance to the quarterfinals. The match length is 30 points, in the knockout phase from the quarterfinals 40 points.
