Sam van Etten was the best in his group after a strong showing

HAARLO - The Limburg player Dave Christiani and Sam van Etten from North Holland play the final of the Grand Dutch, the pentathlon for the Dutch title. The two players finished as group winners. Dave Christiani finished ahead of Raymund Swertz, who was second after Christiani's win in the mutual Limburg match. Young talent Sam Etten finished first in his group by promotional average ahead of the routine stars Michel van Silfhout and Jos Bongers.

Sam van Etten, who played all his free game matches in one inning and also two balkline matches 47/2, was proportionately far above Michel van Silfhout's average: 183.93 against 103.60.

The final match, live on Kozoom and Biljart.tv, starts at 16.45 pm with the free game. Thereafter, another discipline is played. The three last disciplines are on Saturday at 10.00, 12.30 and 14.30.

Together with the battle for the first place, are the matches for the other classifications:

Third and fourth place: Raymund Swertz-Michel van Silfhout
Fifth and sixth: Jos Bongers-Demi Pattiruhu
Seventh and eighth: Micha van Bochem-Dennis Timmers.

The highlights of the preliminaries were the match of Dave Christiani in one cushion, 100 in one inning. Furthermore: Sam van Etten's matches in free game (three times in one inning) and balkline 47/2 (two of three in one inning
