Grouping for next round AGIPI is known

The grouping for next round AGIPI is known. The matches will be played in January and Februari for qualification for the quarter, semi and finals in March.

The Korean player Jung Han Heo and Eddy Merckx from Belgium this evening were the last qualifiers in group four. Three other Koreans, Kyung-Roul Kim, Sung-Won Choi and Haeng Jik Kim also reached the next round. Javier Palazón is the only Spaniard who returns next year to play the selection for the final rounds.

The composition of the groups:

Group A (28, 29 and 30 January):

Roland Forthomme (Bel), Filippos Kasidokostas (Gre), Sung-Won Choi (Kor), Dion Nelin (Dan), Glenn Hofman (Neth).

Group B (28, 29, 30 January):

Marco Zanetti (Ita), Martin Horn (Ger), Michael Nilsson (Swe), Tayfun Tasdemir (Tur), Javier Palazón (Spa).

Group C (25, 26, 27 February):

Frédéric Caudron (Bel), Nikos Polychronopoulos (Gre), Torbjörn Blomdahl (Swe), Eddy Merckx (Bel), Haeng Jik Kim (Kor).
