NEVSEHIR ÜRGÜP - Gülsen Degener won in Nevsehir Ürgüp the second Grand Prix in Turkey for ladies. In the tournament where Tayfun Tasdemir was the strongest in the men's tournament with 800 participants, Degener remained unbeaten in six matches, in which she played 0.816 of average and defeated Aysegul Fendi in the final 30-11 in 37 innings.

The women's tournament was played at the same time and the same place as the men's levent. In the junior group Arda Güngör was the winner.

Gülsen Degener started in the group stage with wins over Ersin Demirci (25 in 31) and Sevda Ataman (25 in 28), defeated Güzin Müjde Karakasu (25-20 in 37) in the next stage and played a draw against Aysegül Fendi (25-25 in 31).

In the semi-finals Degener was too strong for Arzu Gök (30-16 in 32). Aysegül Fendi defeated Saadet Ipec Uc (30-18 in 53). Gülsen showed her obvious superiority in the final, in which she was never threatened by Fendi.
