Hakan Incekara winner by penalty shots

ISTANBUL - Many of the Turkish players are at the start of four tournaments these mounth. Hakan Incekara won the first in Kadikoy, Istanbul with a win over Savas Bulut in the final after penalty shots: 40-50 in the regular match, 4-3 from the spots. Savas Bulut defeated Emrullah Basegmez in the semi-finals 40-29 in 25, Incekara beat Ahmet Alp in the other semifinal 40-25 in 20.

The two finalists will not show up at the World Cup in Ho Chi Minh City this week, like many other Turkish players who play the four tournaments in their own country.

The next is Duzci City from 13 to 16 August, then followed by Bursa City from 21 to 23 and finally Istanbul with 112 participants from 27 to 30 August, where Emrullah Basegmez is one of the organizers in a field with among others Tasdemir, Yüksel, Coklu, Cenet, Capak, Uymaz, Incekara, Yilmaz, Bulut, Alp, Celik and Gülsen Degener on the start list.

Twelve Turks, including the top players Tasdemir, Yüksel, Cenet, Coklu, Sayginer, Kiraz and Tüzül will play in Ho Chi Minh this week.

The next ranking tournament in Turkey is in Ankara in November. Adnan Yüksel is the leader of the current rankings in Turkey. He leads with 194 points followed by Lütfi Cenet 180, Can Capak 152, Murat Naci Coklu 122 Tolgahan Kiraz 122, Murat Celik 116, Tayfun Tasdemir 94, Hakan Incekara 84, Savas Bulut 79 and Birol Uymaz 74.
