Jean Paul de Bruijn meets Harry van de Ven for the second time.

VLAARDINGEN - Harry van de Ven defeated in the preliminary rounds of the Grand Prix in Vlaardingen his opponent Jean Paul de Bruijn in an excellent match. Tomorrow, on the second day, the two players are facing each other again in the sixteenth finals.

Dick Jaspers starts in the first session against Wilco van Wijk. Two former teammates, Barry van Beers and Jan Arnouts play on one of the other tables. Dave van Geel meets Jeffrey Jorissen and Ruud Hölscher, who was so surprisingly strong in the qualifying rounds, is linked to Jean van Erp.

These matches start at 13.00.

In the next session Jean Paul de Bruijn, who cleverly repaired from his defeat against Van de Ven with a victory against Adrian Demming, will face Van de Ven again. Huub Wilkowski was qualified by a surprising victory against Raimond Burgman and plays against Frans van Schaik.

The other matches are Herman Slikker-Wim van de Berg and Ad-Koorevaar-Sander Jonen.
