LIMA - The well known Colombian player Henry Diaz is the winner of the Grand Prix Pan Americano San Miguel in Lima. The tournament was excellently organized by RAJU productions headed by its director Ramon Rodriguez and his wife July. Thanks to sponsorship and many employees the tournament was very successful.

Twelve Colombians finished on top of the ranking, followed by Javier Téran, Christoph Tevez, Guido Saco and Victor Tenorio.

The quarter-finals were dominated by the Colombians with Andres Lizarazo, Huberney Catano (after shootouts against Mauricio Aguilar), Henry Diaz and Carlos Villegas (shootouts against Robinson Morales) as winners.

In the semifinals, Henry Diaz defeated Carlos Villegas 40-21 in 28 and Andres Lizarazo bested Huberney Catano 40-31 in 20. Henry Diaz then triumphed in the final match against Andres Lizarazo 40-37 in 21.

Carlos Mario Villegas made the highest tournament run: 15. Henry Diaz took the best overall average 1.422. Luis Martinez played the best match: 30 caroms in 10 innings (3.000).
