Holland's top four in the overdrive

HOEVEN/OOSTERHOUT - The unbeaten four leaders in the Buffalo league, the Dutch three cushion league, are on their way to separate from the midfield this Saturday and Sunday. The champion team SIS Schoonmaak is facing the debutant Aardexpress in an away match and is not expected to make a mistake. HCR Prinsen, with Eddy Leppens as the leading player and without Dick Jaspers, meets another newcomer.

L&B Ledermode runs into a more dangerous opponent: in Sluiskil against Dallinga with, for the second time in a few days, the meeting between Caudron and Merckx. Raymond Ceulemans plays 'at four' against John Tijssen. STZ Zundert seems to have a walk-over, facing Team Eekhoorn, but surely will realize that the Oosterhout team wants to get rid of the bad times at the start.

The ranking after two laps doesn't say much about the further competition, but gives the four unbeaten frontrunners SIS, Zundert, Prinsen and Ledermode a comfortable feeling at least. The Hague leaders didn't even lose one single game and want to continue that status. Hofman, Van Erp, Burgman and Jorissen are the top favourits when they play De Laet, Bruijstens, Van Wijk and Hermse. De Brabant Zundert team prepare for two great encounters: Roland Forthomme against Frans van Kuyk, Peter Ceulemans against Kurt Ceulemans.

The other matches are important for the positions in the middle part: A1 Biljarts against Bousema Lochem, Burgmans Biljarts against Hartje/Van Wanrooy.
