Horn and Blomdahl keep the matchpoints in Laxou

LAXOU - The finish with four from Torbjörn Blomdahl in his match against Daniel Sánchez and the last point for Martin Horn against Eddy Leppens kept the two matchpoints in Laxou. The home team took the win against Courbevoie thanks to the victories of Pierre Soumagne in the first evening session and Torbjörn Blomdahl and Martin Horn in the later evening. The performance of the top players in the intimate billiardroom were accompanied by a thunderous and well-earned applause.

The 6-2 victory in their own billiard room brought the team of Laxou to the top of the ranking after the first round in French. Martin Horn and Jérôme Barbeillon signed for the highest averages, the match against Blomdahl and Sánchez especially had a fascinating finish. The score went up to 46-46 in 32 innings, then Blomdahl finished with four and the Spaniard missed the equalizer.

Torbjörn Blomdahl made a nine from the breakshot, stayed on the lead for longtime but saw Sánchez make a run of eight in the 11th and come back in the 18th inning (29-29).

Martin Horn dominated after 29-28 in the 16th inning against Eddy Leppens. The German then took the lead and finished with an adventage of seven points (50-43 in 35, averages 2.000/1.720).
