Huberney Cataño, last week's winner in Grand Prix, now again among the stars in Lima

LIMA - In the Grand Prix Panamericano in Lima (Peru), the final day starts with sixteen players and the Colombians are the main contenders for the victory. Huberney Cataño was the most impressive of 32 players in the first knockout round with 2.666 on average. Robinson Morales stunned in the second group stage with 30-point-matches in 11 and 16 innings (2.222). For the last 32 field, 22 Colombians, 7 Peruvians, 1 Mexican, 1 American and 1 Ecuadorian were left after the pre-rounds.

Huberney Cataño triumphed in the Grand Prix in Huancayo (Peru) last week with a victory and high averages. The Colombian also showed his form in Lima so far with the best match in the first knock-out against Cayo Bardales from Peru (40-21 in 15).
Henry Diaz was another star in his match against Yon Fredy Martinez, whom he won 40-19 in 19 innings. Julian Morales eliminated the stuntman of the last World championship, Mexican Javier Vera, 40-24 in 27 innings. Robinson Morales recorded a comfortable win over Alberto Calderon (40-10 in 25). Alexander Salazar, who made the best run (14) in the second split, was not on his best in the 32-match: victory over Marco Blanco in 45 innings.

The most tension was seen in the matches between the Peruvians Ramon Rodriguez and Christopher Tevez (40-40 in 40, Tevez won shootout 3-2), Luis Martinez and Arley Galeano (40-39 in 34), Luis Aveiga and Santiago Carmona (40-37 in 27) and Jose Torreblanca and Fernando Diaz (40-38 in 36).

The rounds on the final day are at 10.00, 12.00, 15.00 and 17.00 (final), Peruvian time. All matches live on kozoom.
