AEBAEK - Two Korean top guys, the leaders in the ranking, played the final at the Taebaek Mountain Cup, a national ranking tournament. The victory went to Jae-Ho Cho, who defeated his main rival Myung-Woo Cho 40-39 in 15 innings. The podium was completed by Sung-Won Choi, the only Korean ex-world champion and Ji-Hoon Ahn, who already shone in the last Survival Masters.

The two finalists had a flying start: Myung-Woo Cho took the lead with 6, Jae-Ho Cho answered with 5. The middle part was dominated by Myung-Woo, who led 22-18 at the stop. At 33-24, Jae-Ho Cho started an attack with a run of 11. Two innings later, at 39-38, Jae-Ho Cho finished with 2.
