Dick Jaspers finished with a run of 22 against Eddy Leppens.

BARENDRECHT - The Belgian league this year is known for his high runs, but also in the Dutch league it was the day of the huge runs today. Dick Jaspers was the best of them all. The Dutch world number one finished his match against Eddy Leppens with a masterfull run of 22 when the score was 28-14. He did the same two years ago in the Agipi Masters, when he was behind in a match against Jérémy Bury. His team, which is leading the league, won the match by 6-2 against Delta, because only Torbjörn Blomdahl lost against Jean Paul de Bruijn.

Two high runs were made by Eddy Merckx in one match in the duel between TOVV.nl and A1 Biljarts. The Belgian defeated his Swedish opponent Michael Nilsson 50-21 in thirteen turns, partially due to runs of fifteen and sixteen.

Marco Zanetti finished with two runs of eight in his last two innings in Sluiskil. He played against Martin Spoormans and needed the strong finish, because the Belgian was only seven points behind at the finish.

Frédéric Caudron again had one of his better days, he defeated Jef Philipoom 50-36 in seventeen innings. Caudron made a run of thirteen.

Frans van Kuik, also playing for Crystal Kelly, shone with a run of eleven, just like Martien van der Spoel and Tayfun Tasdemir on the seventeenth day of the competition.
