MAGDEBURG/BERGISCH - In the German Bundesliga, the decision is upcoming for the teams championship today. Two teams enter the final day with equal chances. The title will go to BC Stuttgart with Tayfun Tasdemir and Murat Naci Coklu or to BC Magdeburg with Dick Jaspers and Dion Nelin this Sunday. Magdeburg starts at 11:00 this morning in the home match against Velbert, Stuttgart plays the away game against Bergisch Gladbach. Both teams have 38 match points and 50 game points after yesterday's matches. Stuttgart has an advantage in average: 1.389 against Magdeburg 1.278.

Magdeburg won the home game against Merklinde 5-3 on Saturday. Dick Jaspers was the best winner. The Dutchman defeated Markus Dömer 40-29 in 21. Dion Nelin escaped Ikenmeyer 40-32 in 42, Markus Schönhoff played a draw and Michael Puse lost.

Stuttgart lost one important point in the away match against Elversberg (4-4). The Belgians in the Elversberg team beat Stuttgart's Turkish frontrunners. Frédéric Caudron won against Tayfun Tasdemir (40-37 in 23), Jef Philipoom against Murat Naci Coklu (40-34 in 27). Stuttgart's numbers three and four, Frings and Durdu, were responsible for the draw.

Today, Magdeburg faces Velbert, that plays without Eddy Merckx (plays in the Netherlands). Stuttgart is facing Bergisch Gladbach, which plays without Peter Ceulemans (also in the Netherlands).
